Premier League: Arsenal courting Henry once again

Thierry Henry (New York Red Bulls to Arsenal on loan)
Henry's was one of the more noticeable faces present at last weekend's north London derby and is linked with another loan move to Arsenal in January. The club legend has again chosen to train with the Gunners now his MLS season with the Red Bulls has finished, fuelling speculation a third spell awaits. Tellingly, Arsene Wenger has not ruled it out, citing the possible sale of Marouane Chamakh and the absence of Gervinho on African Nations Cup duty as reasons for reinforcement. They can be backed at 1.748/11 to beat Aston Villa on Saturday.

Stewart Downing (Liverpool to Middlesbrough on loan)
Brendan Rodgers has been publicly critical of the ex-Aston Villa winger since he took charge at Anfield. After such a massive outlay on the player, it seems logical for Rodgers to loan him out in the hope that he rediscovers some form which makes him a more sellable asset. Middlesbrough seems like a natural fit.

David Beckham (LA Galaxy to ?)
Few 37-year-olds attract the amount of interest David Beckham is getting, though the cynics might say it's because of his brand rather than his waning abilities. A move Down Under is is the early expectation, with Perth Glory and Melbourne Heart among the admirers. Paris St-Germain are another name closely linked to the star, although Carlo Ancelotti has denied an offer is being readied. 

Darren Bent (Aston Villa to Liverpool)
24 million worth of striker has been benched at Aston Villa as Paul Lambert has shown preference for new favourite Christian Benteke. The England international, also stripped of the captaincy by the Scot, is reportedly very unhappy and Liverpool are certainly in need of at least one forward in January. 

Miralem Pjanic (Roma to Tottenham)
The skilful 22-year-old playmaker from Roma has apparently attracted interest from Andre Villas-Boas, who is said to have around 20 million to spend in the January sales. During Mousa Dembele's recent layoff, Spurs have looked very short in the creativity department and, after failing to sign Joao Moutinho in the summer, it's clearly an area in which they wish to strengthen. Spurs can be backed at 1.674/6 to regain form by beating West Ham on Sunday.
