We finish the day in the dusk at Chepstow
The Follow The Money team are starting the day with a lay of a JP McManus horse at Warwick and then go to Nottingham and Chepstow in search of more profit
Our first mover is today's negative in Warwick's 14:20 contest where Cantlow has drifted out from 2.546/4 to 3.953/1. JP McManus's new purchase ran well in decent staying handicap hurdles last season including the Pertemps Final at the Festival when finishing third. He makes his chasing debut this afternoon over the shorter trip of 2 miles, but it is a distance he has never tried before. AP McCoy's mount may well find things happening to too quick for him and looks worth taking on with his main market rival having a similar rating over hurdles and no issues with the trip.
To Nottingham next and the 15:15 race where there has been some interest in Leviathan who has been backed in to 5.59/2 from an early 8.07/1. This consistent sort has not been beaten far on his last three starts and will be favoured by the soft ground today. With Silvestre De Sousa taking the ride for the first time a big run looks on the cards.
Our final selection is in the 15:40 at Chepstow where Royal Mile has been a solidly backed favourite, moving from 2.26/5 in to 2.01/1. This one was an impressive winner last time out on debut for David Pipe over course and distance in easy ground. He was value for more than the winning distance that day and an 8lb rise in the weights should not stop him following up.
