Follow The Money: Nicholls has one to oppose at Exeter

Dare you lay Paul Nicholls' Keppols Hill?

Today's movers come from the meetings at Exeter and Southwell.

We start the day at Exeter for the 14:40, we have seen a drift for Keppols Hill out to 2.77/4 from 2.226/5. Paul Nicholls' charge finished second by a short head at Ffos Las recently, looking the likely winner, trading as low as 1.021/50 in running, but blundered at the last fence and just got caught near the finish. This was a game effort, however, this gelding faces much stronger opposition, and with a step up in class the market weakness suggests punters aren't confident today.

Heading to Southwell for our first positive of the day, where Dubawi Island has been backed from 15.014/1 in to 8.88/1 in the 14:50. This three-year-old gelding is having his seventh career start and looking for his second win, running back over his winning course and distance for the first time since his previous success. James Tate's runner has only shown average form in his last two starts on the polytrack and on turf, but back on the fibresand, with winning jockey Martin Dwyer getting the leg up and the application of a first time visor, there are plenty of reasons to get involved today.

We go back to Exeter for our second positive of the day in the 15:40 Handicap Chase, where Quix has received strong support from a high of 13.012/1 in to 5.24/1. This six-year-old gelding is having his second chase start after finish a distant sixth in a beginners' chase at this track last month. That was a decent race however, and having shown promise in early bumper races, and running off today's low mark of 79, the money suggests a big improvement today.
