Have FTM found three winners on Thursday?
Today's Follow The Money movers come from Towcester and Musselburgh...
We start with Towcester where, in the 12:50 Beginners Chase, there has been a big drift on Highland Lodge for Emma Lavelle. Initially matched at 1.9110/11, he now trades at 2.6813/8 with his initial price looking to be based on hype over substance. It looks a good race over all with every runner holding good ratings over timber. A couple of these, such as Maringo Bay and Same Difference, have already experienced fences and the latter was particularly eye-catching last time out, looking more suited to a right-handed track, he also beat Highland Lodge in a Grade 2 novice hurdle last season.
Staying at Towcester and, in the 14:50 Handicap Chase, Bishophill Jack has been well supported from 4.57/2 into 3.39/4 for Kim Bailey. He shaped with promise on his seasonal reappearance and taking a drop in class here will surely be hard to beat. He's been just about getting 3 miles on flat tracks so this two furlong drop in trip should give him a good chance of adding to his tally. At six, he's still young so surely still has some scope and he's already won off this mark so should give a good account of himself.
Finally, we go to Musselburgh for the 15:30 Handicap Chase where we've seen a bit of money for The Big Freeze for Tim Vaughan. He's currently 5.24/1, having been 6.611/2 earlier, and he looks to have a decent chance. This is only his third start over fences and after a nice showing at Huntingdon, where he was left a bit one paced when the race properly began, he steps up to three miles. This looks sure to suit and, with this looking an easier race, it shouldn't be too hard for him to get his head in front.
