Timeform Radio Racing Tips: Arise, Lancelot Du Lac

David Johnson has his eye on two at Yarmouth for today's Timeform Radio tips
A real treat in terms of midweek action with cards featuring listed races at two of the three British venues, while the Kerry National is the highlight at Listowel. It's to Great Yarmouth though that I go to for my two best bets of the day.
In the 15:50, I'm very keen on Anjaz. She made a bright start to her career, winning both of her races as a juvenile, and though she hasn't added to that in a couple of outings this year, there was more than enough promise to be gleaned from her latest start to think she's on a good mark.
Stepped up to a mile-and-a-half, she seemed to find that trip stretching her stamina, but not before she'd travelled best and briefly got to the front. That wasn't in any normal handicap either; the winner Gospel Choir looks a pattern horse in the making, while Stencive Sir Graham Wade, second and third respectively, have both run very well in big handicaps since.
With a drop to a mile-and-a-quarter sure to suit, and against mainly exposed older horses or fellow three year-olds that have a bit to prove, Anjaz should take a good deal of beating.
The other selection is slightly more speculative, but I think he has a much better chance than his current odds suggest. Favourite in the 14:10, Lord Of The Garter sets a stiff standard on his second at York, and will be difficult to beat, but I'd have no hesitation in suggesting Lancelot Du Lac should be second favourite.
On both outings to date, Lancelot Du Lac has shaped better than the result suggests, particularly at Sandown last time where he was sent for home too soon before fading. The fact he traded at an in-running low of 1.625/8 is a clear pointer to how well he looked to be going at one stage. Conditions will be fine and he represents some each-way value.
