Will Big Sam splash the cash on Carl Jenkinson in the summer?
No big names in today's transfer talk but an interesting story about whether or not Carl Jenkinson will stay at West Ham on a permanent deal.
Reports on Tuesday claim Tottenham are ready to swoop for Belgium centre-back Toby Alderweireld from Southampton this summer.
The 25-year-old is on a season-long loan at St Mary's from Atletico Madrid and has impressed all at the club with his displays.
He is part of the best defence in the Premier League as Saints have conceded just 20 goals this season and has, not surprisingly, attracted much attention.
West Ham were interested before he joined Southampton and it seems as though Saints' former boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to raid his old club to strengthen the north Londoners back line for next season.
Meanwhile Kolo Toure claims he is weighing up a one-year contract offer from Liverpool.
The former Ivory Coast star's current deal ends in June and the Reds have offered him a 12-month extension.
He said: "We're still talking, my agent is talking to the club."
West Ham will have to pay Arsenal 10million to make full-back Carl Jenkinson's move permanent, according to the Daily Mail.
The 23-year-old has been in excellent form for the Hammers during his loan spell and the club's co-owner David Gold has already hinted that they are keen to make the deal permanent.
But Jenkinson reportedly had a 10m price tag and it is open to question whether the Upton Park outfit would be willing to part with that sum for the England international stopper.
The same newspaper also suggests that Arsenal will send scouts to watch Dynamo Kiev centre-back Aleksandar Dragovic against Everton on Thursday night.
The Ukraine side will take on the Toffees in the Europa League and all eyes will be on the 24-year-old Austria international, who is gaining a reputation as one of the best defenders around.
Kiev reportedly want around 15million for their player and German side Borussia Dortmund are also said to be keen.
Finally, reports in the Guardian claim Manchester City's James Milner is considering a move abroad at the end of the season with several clubs on his radar.
The 29-year-old will be out of contract and is looking for one more big move and lengthy deal, with the likes of AC Milan, Roma and Inter said to be in the frame for the England international.
A couple of Spanish sides are also thought to be keen on the powerful midfielder who is seeking more playing time after enjoying only a peripheral role in the start-studded City side.
