Totti won't be adding a second Scudetto to his CV this season
With a winner under his belt in Italy yesterday, Paul Robinson stays there this evening as he thinks that Sampdoria can pick up a positive result in Rome.
Roma v Sampdoria

It has to be classed as a slightly disappointing campaign for Roma as they are 14 points behind Juventus after being expected to challenge them for the title this year. They also exited the Champions League in the group stage and while they are still in the Europa League, they are far from certain of making it past Fiorentina into the quarter-finals.
Winning has become an issue for Rudi Garca's side as it's only five wins in 21 fixtures inside of 90 minutes. They haven't lost many of those - just two in fact - but there have been far too many draws for a club who were thought of as possible Scudetto winners. Even at home, Roma have drawn their last six in a row in the league and interestingly, they haven't been in front at any point at Stadio Olimpico since November in Serie A fixtures.
Sampdoria are over-performing this season as they are in sixth place in the table, just four points off the Champions League places, with a five point cushion over Inter and Genoa behind them. After a run of six without a win, 'i Blucerchiati' have bounced back with two victories.
Sinia Mihajlovi's side have only lost four times this term, with only the top two losing fewer. They are very hard to beat and while all of those defeats came on the road, it's worth pointing out that they've won at Atalanta, Parma, Verona and Genoa.
It's difficult to get excited backing Roma at present, especially at odds-on. That's why, with their price trading at around the 1.715/7 mark, I have to make them my lay of the day.
