Loic Remy and Alan Pardew worked together at Newcastle
Paul Pogba is talked about again but it is a couple of possible striker moves that are the most interesting transfer speculation in the newspapers today.
Juventus chief Giuseppe Marotta has revealed that clubs currently interested in Paul Pogba are willing to pay 55million.
The France international is one of the most sought-after midfielders in the world at present and, according to the Daily Express, Premier League duo Chelsea and Manchester United are said to be leading the race for his signature.
Pogba has enjoyed a stellar season for Juventus, with the 22-year-old making 22 Serie A appearances and finding the back of the net on seven occasions.
A summer exit from Italy has been mooted but Marotta says the club do not want to sell the Frenchman, despite offers of 55m on the table.
"There are many suitors of Pogba," he said. "But we do not want to open negotiations and we want him to stay with us.
"There are clubs prepared to pay between €70m and €80m to sign him."
Elsewhere a story from the Newcastle Chronicle has suggested that the Magpies have offered a pre-contract to unsettled Marseille forward Andre Ayew.
The 25-year-old has been a star performer at the Velodrome this season but the Ghana international is yet to decide on his long-term future, with his current deal running out in the summer.
Newcastle are hoping to agree a deal for Ayew and fend off the likes of Bundesliga duo Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund, who are both reportedly interested.
The Magpies have lacked attacking options at times this season and interim manager John Carver believes the African will add some strength and depth to the squad.
A story in the Daily Star suggests Crystal Palace head coach Alan Pardew is looking to tie up a summer move for Chelsea striker Loic Remy.
The duo worked together at Newcastle United before the latter, who was on-loan at the north-east outfit from QPR, made the switch to Stamford Bridge last year.
Pardew is keen to be re-united with the Frenchman and the former West Ham chief is hoping an offer around the 10million mark will be enough to tempt Jose Mourinho to sell.
Finally, Atletico Madrid are keeping tabs on former defender Filipe Luis and the current La Liga holders could offer the Brazil international a way back to Spain.
The 29-year-old joined Chelsea last summer for 15.8million but first-team opportunities have been limited, with the full-back mainly being used in the cup competitions rather than the Premier League.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Atletico are hoping to tempt Luis back to La Liga with manager Diego Simeone desperate to be re-united with the Brazilian.
