England star on the radar of Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs

James Milner could move this summer according to reports

I suppose you could argue whether James Milner is really an England star but if he is wanted by Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal then he must be half decent? Ok I've not even convinced myself but Alex Johnson talks of this and other potential transfer deals from the media today.

Aston Villa are looking to give Scott Sinclair a chance to kickstart his career. according to The Sun newspaper this morning.

The former Swansea City starlet has seen his career come to somewhat of a standstill having made a big-money move to Manchester City where he has not been able to break into the star-studded first team.

Having had a loan spell with West Brom, Sinclair looks set for a permanent move to Villa Park, with The Sun claiming a deal in the region of 3m will see manager Paul Lambert get his man.

Meanwhile, the Daily Express is reporting Atletico Madrid are looking to lure Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa to the Vicente Calderon in a 14m deal.

The Japanese international is hoping to impress new United boss Louis van Gaal after a slow start to life at Old Trafford. However, if he does not fit into the Dutchman's plans, Atleti are hoping to beat Kagawa's former club Borussia Dortmund to his signature.

Liverpool are edging closer to their next big signing of the summer with Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno expected to sign for the Merseysiders shortly.

Sky Sports believe the Reds could also dip into the Spanish market for Atletico Madrid right-back Javi Manquillo which would see Liverpool break the 100m barrier for signings this summer.

In London, Thomas Vermaelen is believed to be holding talks with Arsenal regarding his future at the club, according to the Daily Mail.

The experienced centre-back has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer but the Gunners appear to be reluctant to sell the Belgian to one of their rivals.

At Manchester City the future of England international James Milner appears to be uncertain, with the player stating he will only stay at the Etihad Stadium if he will get enough minutes on the pitch.

Milner played an important role in helping City win the Premier League title last season but with the club once again spending in the summer transfer window, the midfielder could soon find himself further down the pecking order.

A number of clubs would be more than willing to take Milner off City's hands, with Liverpool thought to be the frontrunners to sign him, while the player is also believed to be on the radar of north London duo Arsenal and Tottenham.
