Hamilton plays host to racing on Tuesday.
Timeform analyse the field for a sprint handicap at Hamilton on Tuesday...
Diman Waters is not one to trust, but won twice last year, and back to form when -length second of 13 to Script at Haydock last time. Did little wrong there, and ought to be competitive despite a 3 lb rise.
Imperial Legend's best effort this year came when runner-up in a visor at Musselburgh last month, and better than result when fifth at Ripon last time. Cheekpieces refitted now, but is creeping back up the weights.
Economic Crisis got back on the scoreboard in the mud here in May, but not so good since, and ran a stinker at Haydock last time. Plenty to prove all of a sudden.
Captain Scooby appreciates a fast pace to run at, and got that when scoring at Redcar in April. Back to that sort of form when third over 6f here last time but no certainty to build on that now.
Sandwith is a tough front-runner who completed a hat-trick over C&D last summer. Has shaped as if in need of both runs this season, and beginning to ease in the weights, but will struggle to dominate here.
Salvatore Fury is not the most straightforward but certainly in good form at present, winning C&D handicap in May, and matching that form when scoring at Carlisle last time. Will continue to give a good account.
Bondi Beach Boy has looked most progressive of late, and completed a handicap hat-trick in apprentice event at Beverley a week ago. Unpenalised for that success, and sure to take all the beating once more.
Distant Sun got back to winning ways at Musselburgh in September (5f). Some promise on return over C&D in May, but not built on that in 2 starts since, and hard to entertain his chances in this field.
Cayman Fox's last success came back in summer of 2010. Creditable third at Musselburgh in May sandwiched by much lesser efforts, and makes little appeal from 5 lb out of the handicap here.
Timeform 1-2-3:
1. Bondi Beach Boy
2. Salvatore Fury
3. Diman Waters
Timeform Verdict: Bondi Beach Boy is rampant at present, and is taken to dominate from the same mark off which he won at Beverley last week. Salvatore Fury looks a solid bet for the forecast, with Diman Waters best of the rest.
