There's pots of gold waiting for Limerick layers
Limerick take on Bray in the Irish Airtricity Premier Division this evening and while the hosts are odds-on, Paul Robinson thinks they won't be taking all three points.
After winning the First Division last season, Limerick are back in the top flight and have made a great start for a newly promoted club. After 19 games they are up in sixth place with 25 points - 11 clear of the relegation places. They come into this match on the back of two league victories, however they have a Cup mauling at the hands of Sligo Rovers sandwiched in between.
The Blues have lost just two of their nine league fixtures at Thomond Park thus far, however it should be pointed out that they've only won three. One of those victories did come in their last outing on home soil but they had to come from 2-0 down to secure the points.
Bray Wanderers are in ninth place with 18 points to their name. Following a difficult start to their campaign, they have started to climb up the table and are only seven points behind tonight's opponents.
Pat Devlin's side lost the last meeting with Limerick by four goals to nil back in April but they had previously been stuffed 7-0 by Shamrock before holding them to a 0-0 draw as I tipped last Friday.
The Seagulls have been beaten just once in 90 minutes in their last five on the road in all competitions and while their away record was abysmal in the 10 games prior to that, they are in much better form now.
This looks to be a relatively even contest on paper and although Limerick have the home advantage, it shouldn't translate into such a short price. That's why, at around the 1.728/11 mark, I have to make Limerick my lay of the day.
