All today's bets are at Brighton
Today's Follow The Money Movers all come from the meeting at Brighton.
We start with the 15:15 1m2f Maiden Stakes where Sadiq has been strongly supported into 3.55/2 from 4.57/2. Saeed Bin Suroor's three-year-old did enough at Sandown last time to suggest he can shed his maiden tag in a race of this nature. He may appear to be the Godolphin second string with stable jockey Mickael Barzalona opting to ride Apparently instead, but Barzalona's mount has no race experience and may need the run here so it could pay to listen to the market on this occasion.
On to the 16:15 1m4f Handicap now in which Brigh has drifted in the betting out to 3.259/4 from 2.915/8. David Simcock's 3yo filly won an all-weather maiden in February and is open to more improvement, but was beaten off this mark last time at Kempton and re-opposes one of those rivals on almost exactly the same terms so will have find a bit more. There is a lingering suspicion that she may not be as effective on turf and so does not look like one to trust at the current prices.
Finally to the 17:15 7f Handicap where Kamchatka had been well backed into 6.411/2 from an earlier 1110/1. Phillip Hide's 3yo gelding acts well on this coastal circuit as proven last week when a clear second in a similar event. Hopefully that performance signals a return to form after some indifferent efforts earlier in the year. Blinkers seemed to help him last time and are being persevered with today while he seems to enjoy a sounder surface so it would be no surprise to see him go well as he demonstrated plenty of ability when winning as a 2yo at Pontefract for his former stable.
