Our social media manager explains how your feedback has helped us improve @PinnacleSports to enhance your betting experience, and why – if you aren’t already – you should be following us to be the first to hear crucial odds movements for events like Wimbledon and the Confederations Cup.

The power of social interaction

“I wanted to start by saying thank you for the support we’ve seen on Twitter. Social Media is interactive by nature, which means the @PinnacleSports twitter account couldn’t have taken flight without your help.

Below, I’m going to take a look at some of the ideas your feedback has inspired, what we’re putting into practice and how we may continue to grow this relationship to improve our enhancement of your sports betting endeavors.

Market movement & event data

“Our followers stated that spotting trends in market movement (read why this is important here) was crucial to providing them an edge, so we’re started putting it at your disposal when the biggest moves (or moves in the biggest markets) happen. It’s up to you to interpret that information, however.

While market movement is crucial, it doesn’t tell the entire story, which is why we’ll sometimes provide data on a particular match. If a team or player has a marked advantage suggested by past performance, we’re going to let you know about it.

In-depth articles & site features

When new articles are posted, Twitter provides the quickest notification, so you’ll be ahead of the curve with the concepts those articles delve in to. We’re also reposting older articles when they’re appropriate, so it’s even easier to stay informed.

Similarly, Twitter helps us spread the word about new features, like the new betting calculator and Asian View betting. With the latter, tweeted feedback is figuring into improving a product that’s already been well received.

A lighter side to Pinnacle Sports

Any company has as its base a human element and Pinnacle Sports isn’t the exception. Twitter provides a platform through which you’ll see our human side as you’ve never seen it before. We’ll even crack the occasional joke at our own expense, even if we don’t think the occasional laugh should allow for charging an extra 20 cents on each dollar you bet.

Lately, we’ve started using twitpics as a new way of sharing our lighter side. Here’s a recent one that got a good response from our followers:.

Big things to come

While we’re excited about our progress on Twitter, we’re more excited about what’s coming. Expect to see the following in the coming months:

Twitter-specific contests

Q&A opportunities with key Pinnacle Sports personnel (including traders)

Deeper insight into our company

Continued enhancement of the customer experience

How you can help us – and yourself

To know how we can best help you, we’d like your feedback. We want you to think about what you’d find helpful and let us know at content@pinnaclesports.com. We’re always keen to hear your ideas.

We’re excited for the future our Twitter interactions will bring. Your retweets are a great way to let us know what you like and want more of, while letting your followers know you’ve graduated to a savvier form of sports betting.

Your mentions help us reach new customers, increasing market size and giving you a better chance to stay ahead of the curve (read why winners are welcome at Pinnacle Sports). In the end, I think that’s a goal for all of us.

Thanks for reading. Looking forward to seeing you on Twitter.”
