In-form Juan Mata scored two in Chelsea's 4-2 victory
There were wins for the 'big four' clubs playing this afternoon, though Manchester City left it very late to take the points at The Hawthorns...
Chelsea are into 4.03/1 to win the Premier League title after an impressive 4-2 victory over London rivals Tottenham at White Hart Lane this afternoon.
The Blues - who went seven points clear in the table for a few hours - opened the scoring in the first half with a sensational 20-yard Gary Cahill (matched at 48.047/1 in the First Goalscorer market) volley, but they fell behind when Spurs flew out of the block in the second half.
But the win Andre Villas-Boas secretly craved wasn't forthcoming; goals from in-form Juan Mata (two) and Daniel Sturridge late on, wrapped up the victory for Roberto Di Matteo's men.
Chelsea were matched at a high of 14.013/1 In-Play for the win, whilst both the Over 5.5 Goals and Mata To Score two or more options were backed at 40.039/1.
Manchester United recovered from an early Wayne Rooney own goal to beat Stoke 4-2 at Old Trafford. Rooney himself brought United back level before a late first half strike from Robin van Persie gave the home side a 2-1 lead at the interval. That scoreline was matched at 23.022/1 in the Half Time Score market.
Danny Welbeck and Rooney's second goal of the game secured the victory meaning Sir Alex Ferguson's men remain second in the table and available to back at 3.39/4 to win the title.
Manchester City also had to come from a goal behind, though their task was made more difficult in the first half when James Milner received the first red card of his career. Shane Long gave Albion the lead but two late strikes from super-sub Edin Dzeko saved Roberto Mancini's blushes.
The league champions were matched a 34.033/1 In-Play, whilst Long was backed at 13.5n/a to score first with the 1-2 Correct Score hitting a high of 38.037/1. City remain the slender 2.915/8 favourites to retain their title.
Elsewhere there were wins for Liverpool (matched at a high of 1.444/9), Fulham (5.69/2), Swansea (3.259/4) and West Ham (2.35/4); the highlight of these games being the 70.069/1 that Chris Baird was matched at to score the first goal at Craven Cottage.
