Today's Follow The Money movers come from the meetings at Beverley and Wincanton.
Our first race is the 15:10 at Beverley where Arch Walker has had steady support to move from 8.4015/2 to 5.204/1. Despite not winning a race for two years he has been running creditably off a slightly lower mark recently, including four placed finishes in his last seven runs. After twice being denied racing room on his comeback he should now be in perfect shape to challenge, and his low draw could finally see him back in the winner's enclosure.
Over at Wincanton in the 16:20, Barlow has been on the drift this morning from 3.2011/5 out to 3.90n/a. Yet to get off the mark in six races over fences, this represents a tough challenge with all his competitors in with a live chance of victory. If he gets things his own way up front then he has obvious claims but backers have been burnt by him before, and at shorter prices than those available this afternoon.
Our final selection is in the 16:40 at Beverley where Hurricane John has been strongly backed in to 9.6017/2 from 15.50n/a. He never really got involved on his seasonal reappearance but with that run under his belt he should be in the mix at the business end of affairs this afternoon. Now on a promising mark, and likely to appreciate this step up in trip, backers have been keen to take advantage of his generous early price.
