Follow The Money: Honestly, there's been cash for Let's Get Serious

Kelso is the venue for two of today's FTM selections

Today's Follow The Money movers come from the meetings at Kelso and Uttoxeter...

Our first race is the 14:00 at Uttoxeter where Polarbrook has drifted this morning from 3.259/4 to 4.57/2. He's yet to get off the mark in nine runs, including three races for his current trainer, although he did go close in a handicap last winter. With no discernable improvement since then it is easy to make a case that at least one of his rivals will be too good for him today.

The next selection is in the 15:50 at Kelso where Potomac has had strong support to move from 7.87/1 to 4.94/1. After a useful career on the flat he turned in a decent effort over hurdles when runner-up at this course in April behind an impressive Donald McCain runner. Although he can be a handful at times he clearly has ability and if today's odd-on favourite is not at his best our selection will be waiting in the wings.

In the 16:25 at Kelso, Let's Get Serious has been steadily backed down to 6.611/2 from 8.07/1. A multiple bumper and hurdle winner for the Henderson yard, he made a winning chase debut for his new trainer back in November. Although out of form since then he showed signs of life last time out when finishing third against sterner opposition than he will face this afternoon.
