Ryan Moore: My two rides at the Curragh on Irish 1000 Guineas day

Ryan has two rides at the Curragh on Sunday afternoon

Ryan Moore will be in Ireland on Sunday afternoon for two rides on Irish 1000 Guineas day. Here he talks exclusively to Betfair about the chances of each...

14:45 Curragh - Count Of Limonade

This race is full of unexposed 3yos, so it wouldn't be wise to be too bullish about anything you fancy in here. My mount has plenty to find on what he has shown, and is unproven on the likely fast ground. But on the plus side he appeared to show improved form when winning at Dundalk last month, and Aidan reported that he was a tough sort who could be suited by this step up to 1m2f. He will need to have progressed to take a hand in the finish here, though.

15:55 Curragh - Hanky Panky

Is another who has plenty to find on the official marks if she is to get competitive here. But she is certainly bred for this level, being a Galileo half-sister to Giant's Causeway, and she got the job done convincingly when winning at Naas last week, when racing in a first time hood. She is untried on fast ground and has a stone or so to find if the principals run to form, but Aidan's fillies have done similar things in the recent past to win Classics, so fingers crossed.
