We begin the day with a trip to York for the 13:45 5f Handicap (Class 2), this is a competitive renewal with the last two winners amongst an already familiar field, but our selection is running this race for the first time. Jamaican Bolt has been backed in from 7.26n/a to 6.25/1 and is currently top of the market, this progressive gelding looks open to improvement and although he didn't quite get home over a testing 6f in March he was travelling well for a long way and should enjoy the return to minimum trip, the forecast rain won't be an issue either. 

Our next selection runs in the 14:55 Novices' Chase at Perth. Sivola De Sivola has drifted to 3.39/4 from 3.1085/40 he didn't fare well over distance back in February and with strong competition in the field we feel this is one favourite to take on. 

Over to Salisbury for the 15:40 Claiming Stakes where the going could make all the difference. A Ladies Man has been backed in to 2.8815/8 from 3.4012/5. Richard Hannon has won this race six out of the last 9 times and although the rain softened ground is a bit of a concern, we feel that this colt is a cut above the rest and will continue the trainers winning form.
