Follow The Money: Back Mission Approved to lift off at Lingfield

Mission Approved runs at Lingfield today

Today's movers come from the meetings at Lingfield and Redcar...

We start at Lingfield in the 14:20 handicap over two miles and Honest Strike is on the drift out to 4.003/1 from 3.2011/5. He won over course and distance two runs ago but last time out he was very disappointing after being given a six pound rise. He has been dropped two pounds for that run but that doesn't look like it will be enough and punters are clearly happy to look elsewhere for the winner.

We move to Redcar for our first positive move and Mont Ras is now trading at 3.6013/5 from 5.104/1 in the seven furlong handicap at 15:30. David O'Meara has been in great form of late and this lightly raced six year-old looks like he will get his favoured fast ground today. He did not win last season but did run really well on good ground but he is much more at home on faster going. He won three times in 2011 including on his seasonal debut so there shouldn't be any worries about his fitness today.

We go back to Lingfield where Mission Approved has been showing some very strong support into 2.8815/8 from 4.30100/30 in the seven furlong handicap at 16:50. Ryan Moore and Sir Michael Stoute team up again after their group success at Ascot yesterday and this three year-old colt looks open to more improvement. He improved with each of his three runs last year culminating in a maiden win at Warwick. He will probably need a step up in trip in time but this looks a good opportunity to open his three year-old campaign.
