Cross-Sport Multiple: Back the Wembley draw

To lose two Champions League finals may be regarded as a misfortune...

Andrew Hughes thinks the Bundesliga rivals will play out a normal time stalemate on Saturday and help land a Saturday cross-sport multiple in the process.

Bet 1: Back Dortmund to draw with Bayern at 4.03/1

In two previous seasons, Dortmund had the edge over their rivals, but this year Bayern have adapted and had the better of their clashes. In four meetings, Bayern have won two and settled for two draws. 

Bayern have been less keen to push men forward and risk exposing their defence to Dortmund's fast-counter attacks. In return, Dortmund have become more cautious, often playing with three deep central midfielders

The absence of Dortmund's Mario Gotze and Bayern's Toni Kroos also means both teams are missing key creative attacking players, and the end result could be a cagey game, with neither side risking too much. A normal time draw seems the sensible play. 

Bet 2: Back Leicester to beat Northampton at 1.364/11

Saturday's Twickenham showcase will be Leicester's ninth Premiership Final. Their record isn't particularly good, with just three wins from their previous eight attempts, but I think they'll have too much for Northampton this time. 

The Saints are on a decent run of form, having lost only one of their last four games, and having memorably dumped Saracens out of the competition at the semi-final stage last weekend. 

However, no team finishing lower than second in the regular season has ever won the Premiership final and Saints, who finished fourth, have it all to do against Leicester. The Tigers have lost just one league game since February and have won their last seven games against the Saints in all competitions. Back Leicester for the win

Bet 3: Back St Helens to beat Warrington at 3.12n/a

St Helens had a slow start to the season and going into last weekend's game against Leeds, they were on another poor run of four defeats. But their stirring second half performance at Headingley could be the start of an upturn in their fortunes. 

They moved into the top eight with that victory, four points behind Warrington, and beating the reigning Super League champions could do wonders for the confidence of a young, talented Saints side. 

The Wolves had been on a run of three consecutive victories, until they were beaten by Hull FC last week. They also have a poor record against Saints, having lost 38 of their 46 encounters in Super League. Back St Helens to make it 39.
