Timeform turn to the Southwell Fibresand on Tuesday

With both national hunt meetings subject to an inspection at the time of writing, a class 3 handicap from Southwell comes under the microscope...

Nazreef is best on the AW, winning couple of handicaps around 1m last spring in headgear. Folded tamely last 2 starts but is 4 from 4 around here (all at 1m)

Red Aggressor landed a 7f Wolverhampton maiden in August 2011 but had limitations exposed a couple of times thereafter. Showed little after a long absence both starts last year and plenty to prove now.

Thunderball looked better than ever when registering third win of 2012 at Doncaster (6f) in October. Some creditable efforts since and is effective around here.

Kickingthelilly has a good record on the AW, returning from a 6-month break with an improved effort to land 7f handicap at Lingfield in December. Good third there next time and broke her maiden over this C&D.

Docofthebay produced several creditable efforts in big-field handicaps in first half of last year, and back from spell in doldrums when second at Lingfield last month. Failed to back that up next time, though.

Shahzan matched form of 6f Doncaster maiden win when placed at Kempton (7f) (finished strongly from a poor position). Good third at Lingfield next time but flopped there in December. Off since.

Chookie Royale is 2-2 on polytrack, landing 7f Wolverhampton event in 2011 and, after a pair of wins on turf, 8.6f event there in November. Off since but style of running suggests he'll take to this surface.

Kung Hei Fat Choy has done well since sent handicapping in blinkers, recording fourth victory in a 7f event at Wolverhampton last month. Rare poor effort at Kempton last time but type to bounce back.

Gouray Girl was talented but rather tricky for Henry Candy, and on a long losing run. Well held both outings for current yard and plenty to prove on return in a first-time hood.

Timeform View: Kickingthelilly arrives at the top of her game and is proven over this C&D, so appeals as the most solid option. Chookie Royale and Thunderball are others to consider.
