Follow The Money: The Lad looks good at Kempton

Oh Crick goes for a win at Chepstow today

As ever, the FTM team have picked two backs and one lay with the Betfair markets steering the direction of our bets

Lexicon Lad was toiling in heavy ground at Cheltenham before being pulled up last time out. Today's conditions should suit him better and he's been backed to take advantage of a falling handicap mark, his price steadily contracting from 10.09/1 to 6.05/1 for the 13:30 at Kempton. Hunt Ball won this race last year but this looks far more open and Lexicon Lad appeals from near the foot of the racecard.

Lingfield have put on a couple of nice Listed races and we find today's lay in the 14:30, in the shape of Farmleigh House. The Irish raider has progressive form and started trading at 2.77n/a but today's opposition include some with eye-catching form last summer, and this represents a stiffer task. He may win again but at the current price of 3.45n/a we're siding with the layers.

Over at Chepstow, Oh Crick has been supported  from 8.07/1 to 5.69/2 as he bids to follow up in the race he won last year, at 15:20. He was well backed that day too, when the application of first-time blinkers helped, he's had four runs since without them, but the head-gear is back on today and he looks sure to run a decent race.
