Can Zamdy Man score over hurdles?
Today's Follow The Money comes from Doncaster, Huntingdon and Taunton.
We start at Huntingdon in their 15:15 juvenile hurdle in which Zamdy Man has been backed from 8.07/1 in to 4.03/1. Formerly smart on the Flat, the selection posted an encouraging hurdles debut when just over 16 lengths fifth in a Chepstow Grade 1 on heavy ground a month ago. That shows the regard in which he is held and he is entitled to have come on plenty since. Although today's race is a good one, it should be easier than that Grade 1 and a big run looks forthcoming this afternoon.
Next we head to Taunton's 15:25 staying handicap hurdle where Tarabela has come in to 6.05/1 from an earlier 15.5n/a. She was out of form on both starts last term but can be forgiven for pulling up lame when last seen. Today's run is the first for a new yard and the money suggests she will not want for fitness following a 435 day absence. A former winner in the mud, she can make the most of a favourable handicap mark and return to form here.
Finally, in Doncaster's 16:35 handicap chase over two miles, Sacre Toi has been easy to back. He is out to 4.1n/a from 3.052/1. Although arriving in good form, having won two of his last four starts, he is now 15lbs higher than that first win and punters feel he may have to settle for minor honours today.
