Follow The Money: Ben can warm up an Arctic day

With a record of eight winning weeks from the last 10, the FTM Team are looking to extend their winning run with selections from today's Catterick and Wolverhampton cards.

We start with the 14:40 at Catterick where there has been steady money for Donald McCain's youngster Trend Is My Friend who is now available at 2.8815/8 having been matched at 3.613/5. This will be the four-year-olds third race over hurdles, with last time out being 11 days ago where he was beaten eight lengths by the unbeaten Hidden Justice. He pulled hard throughout that race, and when asked a question two out, was unable to find any extra. The main rival in today's race is Alba King who hails from the Sue Smith yard. Alba King has gone up 10lbs for its latest win and its three victories have all been on faster ground. If settling better today, the selection can run very well off this handicap mark.

Our next selection is Arctic Ben who runs in the 16:10 at Catterick. He has been matched at a high of 12.011/1, however is now available at 7.613/2. The Henry Daly nine-year-old has been out of sorts this season so far, yet arrives at a mark only 1lbs higher than his last success at Haydock. The ground will be much more in his favour today than his previous two runs and with the valuable 3lbs claim that Jake Greenall is taking off, he could now be down to a favourable mark.

Our lay of the day is Suffice who runs in the 15:30 at Wolverhampton. Having been backed as low as 2.57n/a earlier today, he is now trading at 3.185/40. The four-year-old has had three runs in its career and although only being beaten by a total of a length, it still has not had enough to get its head in front. His main rival today is Full Swing who has been heavily backed. He has had one previous run and finished a very respectable to second to Elysian so should come on for that run. With all this in mind, we rate Suffice as our lay of the day.
