My Tent Or Yours ran out a very impressive winner of the Betfair Hurdle for Nicky Henderson and Tony McCoy...

Still a novice, the six-year-old was sent off as favourite in what looked like a hugely-competitive race and was cruising all the way up the straight under a very tight hold.

When McCoy let out an inch of rein, the JP McManus-owned gelding moved effortlessly clear.

Never in danger at any stage, his margin of victory over Cotton Mill, who ran a fine race on his return to action, was five lengths. Swing Bowler was another length and a quarter back in third.

Henderson said: "It was a funny race. You normally expect a furious gallop in these competitive handicaps but AP (McCoy) was very brave and dropped him right out. It was impressive that he quickened in that ground as I thought the better the ground the better he'll be."

When asked about the possibility of My Tent Or Yours being supplemented for the Champion Hurdle, Henderson said: "I hadn't thought about it. Obviously he's in the Supreme and that looks the obvious one. It all comes down to JP (McManus)."
