Bobs Worth is being opposed at Newbury
Today's Follow The Money movers come from the meetings at Towcester and Newbury...
We start at Towcester and in the 13:00 2m3f Novice Handicap Chase Armedanddangerous has been backed in from 9.417/2 to 5.85/1. He was way back on his chasing debut and comeback last time out however that was over a longer, unsuitable distance. His only previous win in six races was on Soft at Carlisle over this distance so you can see why the money suggests today might be set up right for him.
We move to Newbury, the day's feature meeting, where in the 13:25 2m6f Novice Handicap Chase Sir Kezbaah has seen some interest at big prices. 16.5n/a and bigger this morning Jeremy Scott's gelding is now 109/1. He won a couple of hurdles races over similar distances back in April 2011 but has gone missing since. His chasing debut, last time out at Exeter, was always going to be tough over a much shorter distance than ideal so fourth was probably the best he could hope for. The move suggests he might get closer this time round.
Finally we move onto the days feature race for our drifter, the 15:10 3m2f Hennessy Gold Cup Handicap Chase. Bobs Worth hasn't moved much but there is a lot of money behind it, a price of 5.14/1 when the market opened on Thursday is now 6.05/1. He has only raced on Good or Good to Soft, the latter being the current description on course, however Nicky Henderson has raised concerns. He's a great horse with seven wins in ten, including two wins at the Cheltenham Festival in back-to-back years and looks certain to have another good year switching to handicaps, however there are others that prefer this ground and the money suggests he may just come up short.
