There's a lot of racing to choose from today - have we tempted you into a Boxing Day wager?
Today's Follow The Money Movers come from the meetings at Leopardstown, Wolverhampton and Fontwell.
We start today's column at Leopardstown in Ireland where Anonis has been backed in to 3.211/5 from 4.47/2. Margaret Mullins's exciting six-year-old makes his hurdling debut on the back of a taking performance at Cheltenham when dominating a decent listed bumper field. This is tougher but assuming he takes to the obstacles he could outclass these en route to bigger and better things. There has already been talk of him lining up in one of the big festival novice hurdles in March.
In the 14:40 1m Maiden Stakes at Wolverhampton, Abbraccio has drifted alarmingly in the betting out to 2.727/4 from an earlier 2.1411/10. This is not a strong looking event but Ronald Harris' 4yo was well beaten in a similar race at this venue last time when sent off a short-priced favorite. That placed effort is all he has to show from five starts and he may be vulnerable again today as two of his unraced rivals have attracted market support, while Dutch Mistress ran well on debut at this track last week. Punters have understandably been reluctant to trust Abbraccio at short odds and anything with ability beyond this level could leave him toiling.
Finally down to Fontwell where Buffalo Creek has been well supported into 6.25/1 from 12.011/1 in the 3m2f Handicap Chase at 15:20. The money for Giles Smyly's lightly-raced 8yo is interesting as he makes his handicap debut here off a modest mark of 69 and so gets substantial weight from the market principals. There was little to like about his two chase efforts to date but he does boast winning point form, and with first-time blinkers being used a dramatic improvement would not be a complete surprise.
