Back Peter Wright to beat Kim Huybrechts at 2.56/4 or better

This column is looking for a third darts win on the bounce after Dave Chisnall beat world champ Gary Anderson at a chunky 3.55/2 last week and we like the look of Snakebite this Thursday as he comes up against the rookie Huybrechts.

Wright is bottom of the table and without a win so far, but he held favourite Michael van Gerwen to a thrilling draw last week and followed that up with a run to the final at the UK Open over the weekend, so we reckon a price of 6/4 or so is decent value to overcome the Belgian. Huybrechts did brilliantly in overcoming Barney last week for his maiden victory but he has struggled at times on the big stage during his debut Premier League season and the flamboyant Wright is our arrers bet this week.

Our European expert James Horncastle thinks that PSG will nick this one at a fairly big price, but surely this game is certain to go Unders, based on a Mourinho side that are superb defensively at home already having an away goal in the bag.

There is absolutely no way Chelsea will be giving anything away here in search of a goal - they may of course try to score but I imagine the last few days' training has been spent working on shape and ensuring that everyone knows their role to nullify a talented PSG side in admittedly good form.

In the second half in Paris, PSG searched and searched for a second goal and couldn't get one, and that was more to do with Chelsea being so well-drilled than anything else. There is no reason they can't do the same on Wednesday night. Back Unders.

Back Champagne Fever to Place @ 2.56/4 in the Champion Chase

At around 2.56/4 to finish in the top three, Champagne Fever looks a rock solid bet in Wednesday's feature race at the Cheltenham Festival.

With genuine doubts over both the front two in the market - Sprinter Sacre and Sire De Grugy - we believe that looking further down the list is the way to play. Willie Mullins' charge has a superb Cheltenham Festival record having won the Champion Bumper in 2012 and the Supreme Novices' Hurdle in 2013 before suffering a narrow defeat in last year's Arkle, and the step back to 2m, in what should be a fast-run race, is sure to suit.

Of course, if Sprinter or Grugy are anywhere near their best then they'll take a lot of beating, but that is a big doubt in our minds and we're confident that a peak form Champagne Fever will finish ahead of at least one of those market leaders, and that will almost certainly result in a place.

Back Daniel Berger for a Top 10 finish in the Valspar Championship at around 5.04/1

Daniel Berger is the new kid on the block in the golfing world and although we're not getting the huge prices he was available at a few months ago, at least we're getting an in-form, fearless starlet on our side.

The 21-year-old hasn't finished outside of the top-25 on the PGA Tour in his last four events, recording top-10 finishes in both the Phoenix Open and the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, before coming extremely close to his breakthrough win at the Honda Classic last time, eventually losing in a play-off. He played some very difficult courses in that run of form like a seasoned veteran, and at around 5.04/1 to back to finish in the top 10 for the fourth time in five outings we're more than happy to jump aboard the Berger bandwagon.

Lay Everton against Dynamo Kiev at 2.226/5

Although they've looked handy in Europe this season, Everton's campaign in general has been little short of disastrous so far. They've won one in ten in the league, scored just 33 goals in the league and have one of the worst defences in the entire division.

Despite their decent performances and results in the Europa League, there's a feeling that the Toffees haven't really faced anyone that good yet, Wolfsburg aside.

Dynamo Kiev are a decent outfit; they're undefeated domestically, winning 13 of their 16 games, and smashed their group in the Europa League. It's not beyond the realms of possibility at all to think of them winning on Thursday night at 3.55n/a, but we advise a lay of Everton here to get the draw onside.
