Premier League on Betfair: 9/1 United leave it late as top teams all win

Ashley Young scored a dramatic late winner for United

Manchester United left it late before beating Newcastle, City and Liverpool recorded comfortable wins, and Arsenal, Chelsea, and Spurs clung on. Mike Norman brings us tonight's In-Play odds details...

There's no change at the top of the Premier League table after the seven clubs that led the way going into the midweek round of fixtures all recorded victories.

League leaders Chelsea remain the 1.152/13 favourites to win the title following their narrow 0-1 win over West Ham at Upton Park.

The Capital One Cup winners had Eden Hazard's first half header to thank for the victory as well as some excellent defending towards the end of the game as the Hammers pressed for an equaliser.

Hazard was matched at 8.27/1 in the First Goalscorer market while the 0-1 Correct Score was matched at 10.09/1.

Defending champions Manchester City remain within touching distance of the Blues courtesy of a hard-fought 2-0 win over rock bottom Leicester at the Etihad Stadium.

David Silva - matched at 12.5n/a to score first - put the Citizens ahead on the stroke of half time before James Milner wrapped up the points with a late strike. The 2-0 Correct Score was matched at 8.615/2 on the night, and Manuel Pellegrini's men are now available to back at 9.08/1 to retain their title.

Following Southampton's victory over Crystal Palace on Tuesday night the race to finish in the top four is promising to be an extremely tight affair.

Manchester United were the side set to lose ground on those around them with the score locked at 0-0 in their game at Newcastle with just minutes remaining.

But in the 89th minute, Tim Krul - who'd enjoyed a fine game up to that point - sliced a backpass to Ashley Young who gratefully accepted the invitation to put the ball into the empty net and secure all three points.

Louis van Gaal's men were matched at 10.5n/a in the Match Odds market, while Young rewarded those who'd backed him at 30.029/1 to score the first goal of the game.

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham were made to work hard before securing single-goal victories over QPR and Swansea respectively.

The Gunners were matched at 2.245/4 to take all three points before securing a 1-2 win at Loftus Road, while the 3-2 correct score was matched at 34.033/1 before Spurs' narrow win at White Hart Lane.

Elsewhere tonight Liverpool maintained their excellent recent form with a 2-0 win at home to Burnley, while Stoke moved up to eighth with the same scoreline over Everton at the Britannia Stadium.

A full round-up of tonight's In-Play odds can be seen below.

After tonight's results Arsenal are available to back at 1.261/4 to achieve a Top 4 Finish this season with Man Utd and Liverpool next in at 1.9310/11 and 2.111/10 respectively. Tottenham can be backed at 7.06/1 and Southampton at 9.417/2 in a market that promises not to be settled until the very last day of the season.
