This Internacional fan will be treated to at least three goals
It's that time of the week where Paul Robinson selects a home win, an away win, a match to go over 2.5 goals and a match to go under 2.5 goals. Here are his selections...
Bet 1: Atletico PR (HOME) @ 3.7 (27/10)
We kick off in Parana, Brazil, as Atletico PR look like excellent value to put a turbulent couple of weeks behind them and pick up all three points at home to Sao Paulo.
There's been a wind of change at Atletico PR of late as the 'Hurricane' have failed to live up to last season's exploits since the departure of manager, Vagner Mancini, to Botafogo. Miguel ngel Portugal was the person picked to replace him but an early Copa Libertadores exit and a sluggish start to the league campaign saw his tenure end 10 days ago.
Leandro vila was the man hovering over the hot-seat when the music stopped and he's actually made a decent start to his first big managerial role. His side earned an impressive point at Corinthians before beating local rivals, Coritiba, 2-0 - a result that will have got the fans right behind him and the team.
Sao Paulo are a side that make the mind boggle as they can either be fantastic or dreadful. The general rule I have with them is to back them when they're a big price and avoid them at all costs when they're favourite. Therefore, with their odds lower than evens for an away game, I simply have to oppose them.
There are other reasons to believe they'll flop as well though as they were beaten 5-2 at Fluminense last week and have actually won just one of their last half dozen league games on the road. It is also worth noting that they lost this fixture 3-0 last term.
Bet 2: Cruzeiro (AWAY) @ 2.62 (13/8) - Available on Betfair Live Video at 02:00 BST
To last year's champions now as Cruzeiro should have enough to pick up all three points at Corinthians.
Cruzeiro have started this season where they left off as after seven fixtures they're already back on top of the league. Five wins, one draw and one defeat has given them a one point advantage over Fluminense in second and they'll be keen to maintain that advantage ahead of the break for the World Cup.
Marcelo Oliveira's men come into this match on the back of three straight victories, including a 3-1 success at Internacional on Sunday. That was their third away win from four attempts this year and while they didn't manage to keep a clean sheet during that period, they netted an impressive nine goals themselves.
Corinthians are a notoriously difficult team to beat and if this was last season I probably wouldn't be advising this bet. Under former boss, Tite, the team were set up to avoid defeat at all costs and while that was successful in the main, they had a huge amount of 0-0's that cost them points.
Mano Menezes has taken over this year and he has a more attacking policy. 'Timo' won 4-1 at Sport Recife at the weekend but prior to that they took just a single point from two home games - losing 1-0 to Figueirense and drawing 1-1 with Atletico PR.
Bet 3: Internacional v Chapecoense (Over 2.5 goals) @ 2.15 (23/20)
Our search for this week's goal-fest takes us to Internacional's clash against Chapecoense, and given the stats of the home team, the price looks sumptuous.
Internacional finished last season with a whimper and after beginning this one in decent fashion, they've stuttered in recent days. Draws at Criciuma and Coritiba weren't overly bad results - although they would have hoped for more - but the manner of their 3-1 defeat at home to Cruzeiro would have been bitterly disappointing.
That 3-1 scoreline means that their last three in front of their own fans have gone over 2.5 goals and their matches this year are now averaging 2.43 goals each time. Abel Braga will have identified this fixture as a great opportunity for three points and I suspect he'll send his side out to go for it from the off.
Chapecoense were promoted to the top flight courtesy of their second place finish in Serie B and after a poor start that saw them lose four and draw two of their opening half dozen matches, they managed to earn their first victory at the weekend at the expense of fellow newbies, Palmeiras.
While only two of their seven outings have had three goals or more, Gilmar Dal Pozzo's side have netted in all bar one of their last seven on the road in all competitions. The manager will be telling his players that they are more than capable of breaching Internacional's somewhat iffy defence and while they may end up losing, I can definitely see them getting on the scoresheet.
Bet 4: Atletico MG v Fluminense (Under 2.5 goals) @ 1.8 (4/5) - Available on Betfair Live Video at 02:00 BST
We conclude at Atletico MG as their match with Fluminense has all the makings of a low-scoring affair.
Atletico Mineiro are still the reigning Copa Libertadores champions but they won't be for much longer and it must seem like a lifetime ago since that triumphant night last summer. Their defence ended at the last 16 stage and Cuca's replacement, Paulo Autuori, lasted barely four months.
Levir Culpi is back in charge for yet another spell at Independncia and he's actually made a decent start as boss. 'Galo' are undefeated in four, although their run of three straight victories was ended on Sunday as they could only draw 0-0 at home to Criciuma. That was their third match out of four at home this season to go under 2.5 goals - two 0-0's and a 1-0 loss to Goias.
Fluminense have taken full advantage of the rather fortunate reprieve that saw them keep their top flight status despite finishing in the relegation zone last year. The 2012 champions are second in the league having won five of their seven fixtures.
As far as the goals go, while they are flowing at home for Cristvo Borges' team, it's been a different story away from Maracan. They've played three times on the road this term and they all finished with just a single goal - twice in their favour and once against.
