Today's transfer rumours seem to concentrate on strikers with big names like Soldado, Lukaku and Morata being linked with summer moves.

Spanish daily newspaper Marca is suggesting that Atletico Madrid could be ready to end Roberto Soldado's frustrating spell in the Premier League.

The La Liga champions are seeking a new striker, with leading scorer Diego Costa expected to be on the way out of the Vicente Calderon during the close season.

Former Valencia man Soldado has struggled to make an impact in England since his 27.5million move, scoring just six goals last season, and is thought to be keen on a retun to Spain.

Soldado is not the only option though for Atletico boss Diego Simeone, who is also understood to be interested in Sevilla's Carlos Bacca, Jackson Martinez of Porto and Chelsea's Romelu Lukaku.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have approached Real Madrid again about signing young striker Alvaro Morata, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The 21-year-old was a January transfer target for Arsene Wenger, but Real were unwilling to sell at the time, even though Morata was down the striking pecking order at the Bernabeu.

Reports claim Real want a buy-back agreement in any deal, which would see them able to take the player back at any time during the first two years of his contract.

French striker Bafetimbi Gomis will be in London this week, as speculation grows over a potential move to the Premier League.

The 28-year-old is a free agent having seen his contract expire at Lyon, with the Daily Mail claiming three clubs will hold talks over a potential deal.

West Ham, Sunderland and Swansea are all keen to secure the signature of Gomis, who is represented by agent Willie McKay.

Finally, The Times say Chelsea will try to sign Atletico Madrid pair Filipe Luis and Tiago this summer as part of a deal to secure the services of Diego Costa.

Jose Mourinho is understood to have made an enquiry about Brazilian defender Luis, who was a key figure in Atletico's title winning campaign.

Meanwhile, the Chelsea boss is keen to take Tiago back to Stamford Bridge, after working with him during his first spell in charge of the Blues.
