Angel di Maria could be on his way from the Bernabeu this summer
Bacary Sagna is leaving Arsenal so a new right-back is on their wanted list as well as a few other juicy Friday rumours...
Arsenal have seen a bid to sign Spanish full-back Juanfran rejected by La Liga champions Atletico Madrid, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Gunners have a new right-back at the top of their summer wanted list, with Bacary Sagna set to leave the Emirates having seen his contract expire.
Arsene Wenger is understood to have targeted the 29-year-old Juanfran as his first-choice replacement, but Atletico are claimed to have turned down a 9million offer for the player, who is also keen to remain in Spain.
Real Madrid star Angel di Maria has hinted that he could leave the Bernabeu this summer, with a host of Premier League clubs keen to secure his services.
The midfielder, who is set to play a key role for Argentina at the World Cup, had been expected to leave Real last summer as part of the Gareth Bale deal, but he stayed and eventually helped them to Champions League success.
But the 26-year-old told Marca: "I am not going to lie, I know that there are clubs that want to sign me and can match Real Madrid's demands".
Arsenal and the two Manchester clubs are believed to be interested in Di Maria, along with Ligue 1 duo Monaco and Paris St Germain.
Meanwhile, the Daily Express claim Chelsea could beat Manchester City to the signing of Roma's Mehdi Benatia, one of the most highly-rated central defenders in European football.
The Moroccan international has been a target for City boss Manuel Pellegrini, but Jose Mourinho could pip his rival to the signature of the 27-year-old.
The latest reports suggest that Chelsea could be prepared to offer the Serie A club 18million plus striker Romelu Lukaku, in an attempt to sign Benatia.
Finally, SportinaStorm.com suggest Everton boss Roberto Martinez is keen to sign Almeria forward Aleix Vidal during the close season.
The 24-year-old, who helped his current club survive in La Liga last term, is being widely tipped to move on this summer.
As well as Everton, West Ham, Newcastle and Aston Villa, and Spanish trio Valencia, Villarreal and Sevilla are all tracking Vidal.
