Even Stevens is a fibresand specialist who got a bit closer to that form on polytrack when fourth from this mark (6f) at Lingfield in February. That has to bode well back on favoured surface.

El Viento has been hit and miss since winning at Ripon in summer of 2011, taking advantage of reduced mark back at that venue in August. Record fresh is mixed, and takes on some proven fibresand performers here.

Royal Bajan bounced back from the doldrums under an enterprising ride when winning over this trip at Wolverhampton in January. Typically in and out since, but course record of 12 offers hope.

Gladiatrix only made her debut in May, and progressed fast in the autumn, completing the 4-timer at Bath in October. Not in same form later that month, and hold-up tactics a worry on fibresand debut.
 
Rusty Rocket has scored 3 times at 5f/7f in 2012. Usually needs first run back, so opening seventh over 6f here last month is excused, though still has his work cut out against several fibresand specialists.

Lost In Paris proved hit and miss in 2012, though a repeat of the form he showed when successful from this mark at Catterick (5f) in July would see him competitive. Runner-up sole fibresand outing.

Bubbly Ballerina is a fairly useful sort who was successful twice on polytrack at Lingfield this winter. Fair effort under a penalty there last week, but has to prove she's as effective on this surface.

Al Khan is well handicapped on 2-y-o form (fifth in the Acomb), and finally took advantage in a 7f Kempton contest a month ago. Runner-up both starts since, but may not have the pace for 5f on course debut.

Six Wives went close to a tenth career win when touched off at Wolverhampton in November. Better signs than of late when fourth back there recently, and this multiple C&D winner is now on a good mark.

Lucky Dan won 3 times at up to 7f in 2012 and back to best when landing 5f handicap at Wolverhampton in Febraury. Solid third back there last time, but 2 previous runs here ealrier in career were poor.

Timeform View: Al Khan remains well treated, but a drop to 5f on fibresand debut will provide a totally different test, so it should pay to stick with the Scott Dixon pair Even Stevens and Six Wives. Both are course specialists, with the former preferred.
