Appears to be a race in two between Bring A Ring and Calcatta but expecting Bring A Ring to prove to strong. The Tony McEvoy-trained runner resumed well with a win in listed company before running a solid third in the Group 3 Breeders Stakes. Looks well placed to win again here.
This year's renewal of the Schweppes Oaks looks a hotly contested affair but from the good barrier Molto Bene looks well placed to break a winless drought. She was third in the Adelaide Guineas last start and despite being untried over 2000m, she hit the line well last start and will be hard to beat in this.
Catapulted from the Mark Kavanagh stable resumes from the spell in the D C McKay Stakes and has an outstanding record when fresh. He only had the two runs last time in, winning one of them and placing on the other occasion. Proven in group company and despite carrying the top weight should prove too strong in this.
