Dundonnell could contest the 2000 Guineas
Trainer Roger Charlton is looking forward to a crack at the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket with Dundonnell...
An impressive winner of the Acomb Stakes at York last summer, the American-bred youngster went on to finish a close second in Doncaster's Champagne Stakes before running a fine fourth when favourite for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf.
The Beckhampton handler told www.rogercharlton.com: "I have been pleased with Dundonnell during the winter because he has done well and grown again.
"I thought he ran very well in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf.
"A horse with lots of scope and potential, I view him as a miler and he is likely to be given a Guineas preparation. Fast ground suits him well."
