Timeform Daily: Tuesday, Towcester 12:45

Racing takes place at Towcester on Tuesday.

Timeform provide a runner-by-runner guide to a handicap chase at Towcester on Tuesday...

L'Eldorado has been placed 3 times since opening chasing account at Hexham (2m) last year. Back in some sort of form with more positive tactics reapplied at Wetherby (2m) last month, and lower in the weights now.

Blackwell Synergy was twice successful at up to 3m over hurdles for John Supple. Better than result implies when a remote third on chase bow for new yard last month, so may fare better now contesting a handicap.

Fabulous Fred has been lightly-raced since landing a 2m Fakenham novice hurdle in February 2010. Shaped as though needing race when last of 4 on chase bow at Sandown last month, so may improve.

Morestead is a front runner who was back to best when cashing in off reduced mark at Warwick (2m) last month. Good third at Lingfield last time and likely to give another decent account.

Little Chip finished runner-up in an Irish point. Fair form in bumpers/over hurdles earlier in the year, but little to take from both chase outings in a tongue tie in recent months, falling at Sedgefield last time.

Arctic Watch registered second win over hurdles at Newton Abbot (2m) in April. Showed some aptitude for chasing when fourth at Taunton last month, so may do better now handicapping in this sphere.

Irish Guard has been lightly raced since winning twice in 2010 (including here). Claims on his second at Market Rasen (25f) in April, but ran poorly when last seen here in May, and could need this on return.

Russian Conquest gained second chase win when scoring off this mark at Plumpton (17f) in March. Mixed bag when making frame all 3 starts since, but contender if anywhere near best upped in trip on return.

Wherrimon was back in the winning groove at Fontwell (3m) 14 months ago, but something to prove following a couple of miserable efforts after a year on the sidelines.

Timeform 1-2-3:
1. L'Eldorado
2. Morestead
3. Russian Conquest

Timeform Verdict: L'Eldorado went with much more zest with positive tactics reapplied when not beaten far at Wetherby last month, and can make the most of another ease in the weights. Morestead showed he could get competitive off this mark last time and is feared most, alongside the returning Russian Conquest.
