Home and Away: They think it's Arles over

It's been a long old season for Thierry Laurey's side.

Jonno Turner scours the continent looking for the value bets of the day - and today he's settled on trips to France and Scotland.

We're off to France for our first pick of the day, as in-form Guingamp host struggling Arles at the Stade de Roudourou.

The home side are on a cracking run having won their last four on the bounce ahead of this tie, and boss Jocelyn Gourvennec will be desperate for his side to continue that momentum here.

The Reds have lost just one of their last 17 at the Roudourou, and that form has lifted them into third place in Liguye 2 - just three points off second.

But what will please Gourvennec the most will be the manner of his sides performances of late - and three clean sheets in a row undelines just how comfortable his side have looked in the last few weeks.

Arles travel to their hosts placed 18th in the table - and Thierry Laurey's side will be desperate to climb out of those relegation places this evening.

But the visitors have lost three of their last four away from home, and confidence will be low in the away camp ahead of this trip to one of the in-form sides in this division.

Ten goals conceded in four outings on the road suggests that this Arles side do have a tendency to struggle defensively, and we could well see some goals from the hosts tonight.

Guingamp are full of momentum and vigour and I expect them to chalk up another three points in this clash.

Back to mnore familiar climes now, and we're going up to Scotland - and in particular the Third Division - as Queens Park travel to Clyde looking to extend their recent good form.

The visitors go into this encounter sitting third in the table, and boss Gardner Speirs will be keen for his charges to continue the run of good form which lifted them to those heights.

Two wins from their last two outings will have the Spiders full of expectation ahead of this one, and they are useful away from Hampden Park - unbeaten in four of their last five.

One thing about this away side is that it has goals in it - and 10 scored in five games on their travels underlines just how much final third quality Speirs has at his disposal.

Clyde host the Glasgow side having failed to win in their last four games at the Broadwood Stadium, and boss Jim Duffy will be keen for his side to arrest that slump here.

The Bully Wee go into this game in eighth place in the table, and just three wins from their last 20 at home suggests that consistency is a major issue for this Cumbernauld side.

Nine goals shipped in four games points to weaknesses defensively, and the hosts will be hoping that they can shore up their rearguard in time for the visit of this goal-hungry Queens Park side.
