Have FTM found winners at Folkestone?
Today's Follow The Money comes from the meeting at Folkestone.
We start in the 13:30 where Rouge Et Blanc has seen some solid support coming in from 12.08n/a in to 5.85/1. This is surprising money given Oliver Sherwood's runner is returning after almost two years away from the track. He's still lightly raced and did show some promise early in his career over hurdles. The fact he's failed to finish his last four starts over fences is a worry, but given the amount of support he's had this morning, it can be assumed he's recovered from the injuries he's obviously had and could be right in the finish today.
Moving on to the 14:30, Coverholder has been heavily supported coming in to 3.211/5 after being backed as high as 9.08/1 earlier. He went close on his debut in a bumper when second at Worcester, but then showed little in his subsequent starts. He's returning after over 300 days off, but given he's having his first start for the Tim Vaughan stable today, it looks like a big improvement can be expected with the money down.
Finally in the 15:00, Guydos has been on the drift going from 2.789/5 out to 3.412/5. Venetia Williams runner has been on a roll recently winning two of her last three starts, but has shown a reluctance to race at times. She has a 6lb rise to contend with today, and with all of her rivals looking to have a chance in this competitive handicap, she could be one to avoid today.
