In-form trainer Charlie Longsdon saddles Hazy Tom today
Today's Follow The Money movers can be found at Lingfield and Musselburgh...
We start at Lingfield for our negative where we have seen Sofi's Spirit take a huge walk in the market in the 12:40 6f Selling Stakes. As short as 1.834/5 for small money in early exchanges she is now as big as 3.211/5. She turned in a decent performance to win at Wolverhampton six days ago over 7f and looks quite speedy. She hasn't been tried at this trip before and a couple of her rivals in this field have been well backed, notably Lexi The Princess. Drifts as big as this should always be noted, and Sofi's Spirit looks to be one to take on today.
Our first positive can be found in the 2m Handicap Chase (13:20) at Musselburgh where Hazy Tom has been extremely well supported form a high of 5.59/2 in to 3.3512/5. Trainer Charlie Longsdon could hardly be in better form at the moment and had a decent priced double at Warwick yesterday. Hazy Tom also won at Warwick last time out on his second start over the bigger obstacles and looks to be a decent prospect in his first handicap start. The money certainly suggests that a big performance is expected and we are looking for him to win today.
Back to Lingfield now for the 14:10 for the unpronounceable market steamer Bancnuanaheireann who has moved from as big as 18.5n/a in to 7.613/2. This looks a decent handicap for the money, but Bancnuanheireann is having his sights lowered after running in a CD listed event here last time out. If he can reproduce the form that had him placed fourth in the Cambrideshire he looks to have an outstanding chance and is our final selection at a decent price.
