FA Cup Betting: Oxford and Accrington to entertain

Alfie Potter notched against Accrington in their league meeting

It's FA Cup second round replay time and Christian Crowther has picked out a bet to accompany each of Tuesday's games...

Barrow v Macclesfield, Tuesday 19:45, Match Odds: Barrow 3.211/5, Macclesfield 2.3611/8, The Draw 3.45n/a
Without a win in the Conference Premier since October 9, Barrow unsurprisingly find themselves propping up the division. Here they face a difficult tie - a rearranged initial encounter rather than a replay - against a Macclesfield side currently ten points off that division's summit and harbouring aspirations of an immediate return to the Football League. When these teams met in the league back in August, it was the Silkmen who triumphed comfortably (although they were at home that day) running out 2-0 victors. Based on their respective league form, Macclesfield are rightly favourites to set up a lucrative home tie against current Championship table-toppers Cardiff.
Recommended Bet: Back Macclesfield to win @ 2.3611/8

Brentford v Bradford, Tuesday 19:45, Match Odds: Brentford 1.674/6, Bradford 5.85/1 The Draw 4.03/1
Bradford will arrive in west London still high on the fumes of their incredible League Cup quarter-final success against Arsenal. Nevertheless, if the Yorkshire outfit wish to stay in the FA Cup, in which they have earned a reprieve having been kicked out for fielding an ineligible player in the 1-1 draw at the Coral Windows Stadium before winning an appeal, there is no time for self-congratulatory sentiment against a Brentford side which has stormed into second in League One via a run of seven wins and no defeats in nine. By earning a replay, the Bees have given themselves a really strong chance of progression as their home results this season are the joint-best in England's third tier. Bradford of course haven't lost a cup tie all season, but with each extra round played, the danger of fatigue intensifies. Brentford striker Clayton Donaldson may prove the difference following six goals in his last five starts.
Recommended Bet: Back Brentford to win @ 1.674/6

Notts County v Rotherham, Tuesday 19:45, Match Odds: Notts County 1.9420/21, Rotherham 4.216/5, The Draw 3.65n/a
Both these sides are threatening in their respective divisions, though it appears to be advantage Notts County here after a 1-1 draw at the New York Stadium to set up this replay. One noticeable feature for both sides though is a lack of goals in their recent fixtures. Four of County's last five games have returned under 2.5, whereas their visitors have only managed to notch more than once on a solitary occasion in the same period.
Recommended Bet: Back under 2.5 goals @ 2.1211/10

Oxford United v Accrington Stanley, Tuesday 19:45, Match Odds: Oxford United 2.0421/20, Accrington Stanley 3.8514/5, The Draw 3.613/5
With only goal difference and one place separating these sides in League Two, it was no great shock that they couldn't be separated in 90 minutes in the first tie. In fact, drawing is something Oxford have become rather accustomed to lately, with six of their last eight ending in parity. Accrington were on the end of an embarrassing 5-0 demolition there in the league in October but repaired their self respect in the dramatic 3-3 draw at the Fraser Eagle Stadium in this competition. That tallies up to 11 goals in the last two clashes between these sides.
Recommended Bet: Back over 3.5 goals @ 3.211/5
