Boxing: Industry first as Betfair launches live odds boards for Barker v Hope

Betfair will become the first gambling company to feature live odds on LED boards during a boxing match when Darren Barker takes on Kerry Hope on Saturday (December 8)

The middleweight showdown - Barker's first fight since a gallant world middleweight title challenge against Sergio Martinez in October 2011 - is the highlight of the Betfair Christmas Cracker at London's Olympia.

The specially designed digi-boards will be carried in to the ring between rounds by none other than 'The Only Way is Essex' star, Chloe Sims, who will be supporting local boy Barker. The traditional round number will be placed on the reverse.

Chloe said: "I'm excited to be part of the show on Saturday and I can't wait to get into the ring on Saturday night, the atmosphere is going to be electric. Me and my family love boxing and we're going to be there backing Darren to win."
