Timeform Daily: Wednesday, Wetherby 15:40

Wetherby plays host to racing on Wednesday.

Timeform analyse a handicap hurdle over two miles at Wetherby on Wednesday...

Call Back was a bumper winner who took novice hurdles at Bangor and Cartmel in 2012. No impact in couple of handicaps since returning from a break but not discredited when third in jumpers' bumper in January.

Lightening Rod is a fairly useful hurdler/chaser. Creditable placed efforts in couple of handicap hurdles before Christmas and likely to be thereabouts if ready after nearly 4 months off.

Rhymers Ha' matched pick of novice form when winning at Kelso (2m) in December and bounced back to that level when second to Jonny Delta at Ayr last month. Up another 3 lb but should remain competitive.

Dormouse looked better than ever when winning couple of times under McCoy in November. Below par last twice but jockey booking suggests better expected here back from a couple of months off.

Bound For Glory was an Irish point winner who made all in Sedgefield novice hurdle in November 2011. However, well held in Uttoxeter handicap on return from 15 months off and Maguire prefers Call Back.

Fujin Dancer is a hold-up perfomer who is best with emphasis on speed over 2m. In good form on Flat/over hurdles for Brian Ellison when last in autumn in 2011 and not discounted if market vibes positive on return.

Glencree was a fairly useful hurdler/chaser for Howard Johnson but well beaten in chase/2 hurdles since returning from 21-month absence. First-time cheekpieces need to spark revival.

Sharadiyn won pair of 2m Southwell novices in summer 2011. Stopped quickly in couple of handicaps when last seen 10 months ago and fitted with a tongue tie on return. O'Regan a positive booking.

Stanley Bridge won 4 times in second half of last season, including over C&D and back from a quiet spell when adding to tally at Sedgefield in February. Needs to bounce back from a poor run at Ayr since, though.

Dante's Frolic was a bumper winner for Willie Amos last term and stepped up on first 2 efforts over hurdles when landing 2m Catterick mares maiden last time. Will need to improve again to defy this opening mark.

Cool Baranca won 4 times at up to 17f in 2012, her final success coming off a 16 lb higher mark than this. Clear signs she's back in form when fourth over 2m last time and very interesting back down in trip.

Circus Star put up improved efforts when runner-up in 2m handicaps on 2 of last 3 starts and expected to give another good account of himself here.

Timeform 1-2-3:
1. Cool Baranca
2. Circus Star
3. Rhymers Ha'

Timeform Verdict: Cool Baranca showed clear signs that she's back in form when travelling strongly for a long way over 2m at Ayr last time and is expected to go close back at her optimum trip. Circus Star and Rhymers Ha' arrive on the back of solid recent efforts and should also go well.
