We start in the 14:20 opener at Ffos Las, where King Spirit has seen steady support, coming in to 3.1511/5 from 4.25n/a. He looked to have decent potential when winning a bumper in November, but has failed to chalk up a victory in his hurdle starts. His runs haven't been terrible though, and with his main rival Houndscourt, who beat him last start now a non-runner, he looks to have every chance of notching up his first victory over the obstacles today.

Moving to Market Rasen for the 14:30, Endeavor has been on the drift, going from 1.9420/21 out to 2.3211/8. He is bidding for a hat-trick today, and does come into this escaping a penalty for his victory on Monday. The worry with punters seems to be the fact he is an ungenuine sort, having refused to race twice in his career and you can never be sure what mood he is in when arriving at the track. With that in mind, it might be better to look elsewhere for a bet given he is at such short odds.

Finally, in the 16:40 Handicap, French Ties has continued to be backed, coming in from 7.25n/a to 4.84/1. He won three races last season, with the last of them coming when carrying 4lb more in a better race than today's contest. He showed signs of recapturing that form last start when fourth at Carlisle, and with today's going looking more in his favour, he looks every chance of being in right in the finish.
