Timeform concentrate on a hurdle race at Market Rasen
Timeform examine each runner in a competitive handicap hurdle at Market Rasen...
Stagecoach Pearl was better than ever during light campaign last term, and shaped well over unsuitable trip at Aintree on return. Shaped amiss next time but potentially well treated back over hurdles.
Harry Hunt was a useful handicap hurdler in 2011/12, and improved again when landing 19f event at Stratford on return. Ran well over fences next time and good effort on the Flat since.
Marodima is a useful front-running hurdler/chaser who was as good as ever when scoring over fences at Fontwell. Not disgraced back over timber next time but folded tamely at Ascot in November and off since.
Bar de Ligne produced best run since opening hurdling account in January when runner-up in a 2m Wetherby handicap in November, but brushed aside off revised mark since.
Tara Royal is a frustrating sort who is often held back by jumping, but put it all together when winning at Musselburgh a year ago. Generally poor efforts since, though, and bit to prove back over timber.
Simply Ned was highly progressive last winter, winning first 3 starts over hurdles. Good placed efforts 2 of 3 starts this term but possibly not straightforward.
Hollo Ladies was a one-time useful hurdler/chaser who has been lightly raced in recent times, but took advantage of reduced mark at Ayr last time. Still looks on a fair mark and considered with different headgear on.
Beyeh won a Stratford juvenile in March and showed further progress both starts in handicaps this term, runner-up at Doncaster last time. Still unexposed.
Thunderstorm is a Huntingdon bumper winner who readily took advantage of lenient mark on return from 22 months off at Plumpton last month. Followed up at Leicester and Towcester since and leading player.
Snake Charmer landed a brace of staying handicaps for various yards in 2011. Ability still intact when second at Leicester in December, but questions to answer following some tame efforts since.
Timeform 1-2-3:
1. Stagecoach Pearl
2. Thunderstorm
3. Harry Hunt
Timeform View: Thunderstorm is likely to be popular as he bids for the 4-timer but Stagecoach Pearl is potentially well treated back over hurdles and could be worth chancing.
