Zaidpour is a classy hurdler who won this race last term. Beat a strong field in the Hatton's Grace in December, besting the likes of Monksland, Voler La Vedette and stablemate So Young, and he has finished runner-up both starts since, coming home three and a quarter lengths behind Bog Warrior in the Galmoy Hurdle here last time. Makes plenty of appeal. 

Hisaabaat made up into a smart novice last term, twice a winner of Grade 1 races. However, he has proven a major disappointment so far this term and has plenty to prove at present.

So Young is a five-time winner over hurdles, but has yet to score at graded level. However, he has run some solid races in defeat, including when a four-length second to Solwhit in a Grade 3 at Naas last time, and he seems sure to give it a good shot.

Rory O'Moore is a front-runner who achieved a smart level of form in bumpers. Got himself off the mark over hurdles at Naas in November, and has put up creditable efforts when runner-up since, but he needs to improve markedly to land this.

Arnaud landed a maiden at Limerick last term and was also fifth in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham. Returned to his best when second to Blackstairmountain in minor event last time, but this requires even more.

Missunited was a three-time winner on the Flat last year and developed into a useful hurdler, scoring at Listowel and Galway earlier this term. Hasn't been seen since disappointing at Down Royal in November and needs to improve to challenge the two principals.

Timeform Verdict: Last year's winner Zaidpour has finished in front of his stablemate So Young on two occasions this term, including when landing the Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse in December, and he is taken to once again get the better of him here. Missunited is likely to prove best of the rest.
