A message from our Social Media Manager on why Pinnacle Sports is finally on Twitter and how you’ll gain value from following @PinnacleSports.
“Pinnacle Sports are on Twitter and it’s about time.
Pinnacle Sports has traditionally kept its cards close to its chest, but the decision to communicate through Twitter was an easy one. Our account, @PinnacleSports, allows us to communicate with you – our customers – directly without inflating our bottom line, which makes it a no-brainer. Yes, that means we’ll eventually be expanding our horizons to other social media platforms, but for the moment, Twitter is our focus. Here’s why it should be the focus for you:
Value for You – Opening Odds, Content & Market Moves
Value. It’s just one word, but it says everything you want it to as a sports bettor who is looking to be successful. We’ve already implemented an initiative that has our Twitter account post the opening odds for major markets, giving our bettors the best opportunity to take advantage.
We’ve also been linking to site content as it’s being posted, giving you quicker access to valuable information that’s only going to increase in offering in the months ahead.
We’re discussing major sporting events, posting significant market moves and addressing customer inquiries about the posting of niche odds, and that’s despite being less than two weeks into operation. It’s only the beginning.
The direction of @PinnacleSports and the value it offers depends on you. The feedback you give through Twitter interaction is going to show us what our followers want, which will in turn be the best way to furnish you with what you’re looking for from us.
The more we grow, the more information we’ll have and the better we’ll be able to do. Essentially, you following our Twitter account gives us the best chance to enhance your experience when betting with Pinnacle Sports.
Changing but Staying the Same
Pinnacle Sports already offer the best product in the sports-betting market, one in which we continually invest our resources. This is different to other bookmakers, who look instead to exploit customer navet, inflate their margins and use the resulting profits to pay for soccer shirt advertising deals and other expensive toys. Best odds, highest limits, winners welcome; those are our credos, and using the soccer shirt business model wouldn’t allow us to stick to them.
Twitter is a different kind of opportunity, and Pinnacle Sports is excited that it broadens our offering without sacrificing the value you get from our product.
Not a Customer Service Vehicle
It needs to be said that @PinnacleSports is not a customer service vehicle. If you go to our Twitter profile, you’ll see a prominent note in the upper-left corner specifically stating as much. We wanted to quickly explain why that is:
First, we take your customer service inquiries seriously. Pinnacle Sports has policies in place for dealing with a number of potential customer issues and every one of them requires thought, time and diligence that goes beyond Twitter’s 140 character limit. You deserve more of our attention than that.
We ultimately want the Tweets we’re sending out to reach a wide audience to the benefit of our collective customer base, so we want to keep the focus on the “little things” like actual sports news or sports betting.
Finally, we take your privacy very seriously and limit access to your information even within our company. That’s why our social media channel operators have not been given access to account records. They couldn’t help you with individual complaints, even if they wanted to.
Follow Us, We Will Be Listening
In the weeks and months ahead, I’ll occasionally post columns addressing changes and improvements we’re making as we continue to grow as a social entity. I hope you’ll find those updates useful, and in the mean time, look forward to getting to know you a little better on Twitter.
I’m excited for what this step means for Pinnacle Sports and for our relationship with our customers. Thanks for reading and for one last time, come follow @PinnacleSports. I think it’ll be worth the mouse click.”
