Today's Follow the Money movers come from the meetings at Huntingdon and Sedgefield.
Starting at Huntingdon and the 15:30, a 2 mile 5 furlong Handicap Hurdle where Polly Peachum has seen a lot of support moving from 8.5n/a into 5.04/1. Nicky Henderson's 5 year old mare made a great start to her career recording a win at the second attempt in a bumper before following this up with success in a Novice Hurdle back in November. Her two subsequent runs have disappointed finishing well down the field. With good reports from the stable who have a 36% strike rate at today's venue and favourable conditions she could achieve a win on her first run at Handicap level.
Moving to County Durham for today's negative, where in the 15:50, a 3 mile 3 furlong Handicap Chase Ferdy Murphy's Mansonien Las has been easy to back moving out from 2.95n/a to a current 4.3100/30. The seven year old gelding returns to the track where he recorded his first win back in May over a shorter distance than today's contest. With a win last time out on heavy ground at Kelso todays longer distance race on good to soft ground may not suit, the lack of market confidence appears to suggest this is the case.
Finally back to Huntingdon and the 16:30, a 2 mile Handicap Hurdle where Tiny Tenor has moved from 8.25n/a into 5.85/1. Jeremy Scott's 7 year old gelding has yet to get off the mark but hasn't been disgraced, most notably 7 weeks ago when finishing fourth to current Supreme Novice' Hurdle favourite My Tent Or Yours. With his best finish to date on ground similar to today's conditions and a current 35% strike rate for the jockey/trainer combination at the track this could be the day to post a first win.
