Find Me a 100 Winner: Try this under-estimated trio at Doral

Freddy Jacobson has been impressive over the past month

Looking for an outside bet at this week's WGC Cadillac Championship? Paul Krishnamurty has three recommendations available at over 100.099/1 and a plan to make money even if they don't eventually win...

It is only a fortnight since the last World Golf Championship yet the market already seems to have forgotten some of the form clues seen at the WGC Accenture Matchplay. Two of this week's three selections, for example, really caught the eye there yet, because they failed to maintain that progress at last week's Honda Classic, are dismissively given triple-figure quotes.

Nicolas Colsaerts was outstanding during the first two rounds at Dove Mountain, taking the notable scalps of Bill Haas and Justin Rose, before running into the unstoppable eventual champion Matt Kuchar. Granted, that was Colsaerts' only piece of 2013 form but he remains one of the most exciting recruits to the PGA Tour. The Belgian fared pretty well on his first few big events in the States last year and is going to make a big impact somewhere. He's certainly worth perservering with while available at odds around 140.0139/1 and, given that massive hitters usually thrive at Doral, this week's test looks ideal.

Fredrik Jacobson didn't even have a particularly bad week at the Honda Classic, finishing 25th, yet is surprisingly available at 130.0129/1 on a course where he made the top-four on the first of only two previous visits. He too was impressive at Dove Mountain, losing nothing in defeat to on-fire birdie machine Robert Garrigus, and would have started hot favourite in the play-off at Riviera a week earlier were it not for missing a short putt on the 72nd green. The fact Freddy lives in Florida is another positive so far as Doral is concerned.

Finally, although Francesco Molinari has barely been seen in 2013, let alone offered any encouragement in terms of form, his Doral record is simply too good to ignore. In three attempts here to date, the Italian has never finished worse than 14th, including third place two years ago. It may well be that, like several others, Molinari has adopted a new schedule in order to stay relatively fresh later on in the year, and will be perfectly primed for an event that must represent one of his best chances at the highest level.

The trading plan is to stake six units in total, then place orders to lay each at 10.09/1 and 3.02/1 in order to bank some profit. If any of our trio shortens to the first target, we'll be guaranteed a minimum of nine units profit.
