Cheltenham Antepost Betting: Non-runner no bet offer backdated by Betfair

Punters who backed Big Buck's for the World Hurdle from December onwards will get their stakes returned

Antepost punters will get stakes returned on all Cheltenham bets placed since December 2012 

Betfair today announced they will offer 'non-runner no bet' on all Cheltenham ante-post bets placed on their Sportsbook and will also backdate the offer to include all ante-post activity since their fixed odds offering launched in December 2012.    

That means the leading online betting company will refund all bets placed on fancied runners such as the injured Paul Nicholls duo of Big Bucks and Tidal Bay, the ill-fated Darlan and more recently, the luckless Imperial Commander. 

Commenting about the concession today, spokesman Barry Orr said: "Our new fixed odds Sportsbook gives us the flexibility to compete with other companies on concessions and this mouth-watering offer, with its backdating dimension, gives a clear indication of our intent to offer the best value around to punters."
