Timeform Daily: Wednesday, Nottingham 15:40

Mark Johnston: Trainer of Sir Graham Wade.

Timeform guide you through the listed Further Flight Stakes, over a mile and six furlongs, at Nottingham on Wednesday...

Flying Cross was much improved when third in 2010 Irish St Leger for Aiden O'Brien on just fourth career start. Below that form in 2 starts for John Gosden, though, and starts out for new yard after long absence.

Sir Graham Wade developed into smart staying performer in second half of last term, winning Old Borough and Mallard handicaps before landing listed event in France, and remains one to keep on side.

The Bull Hayes was once a useful dual-purpose performer who was back on his game when placed in events at Doncaster and Musselburgh last month, though up against it here and isn't one to place maximum faith in.

Cavaleiro was a two-time winner in 2011 who improved again last term when placed on 3 occasions, only nose behind Sir Graham Wade in 1m listed event at Ascot in October. Should continue to give good account.

Handazan went close under enterpising ride in 1m Naas maiden in May and duly went one better at Leopardstown in June for John Oxx. Fairly useful over hurdles since, but needs to step up again to feature.

Jaaryah is a lightly-raced filly who is yet to fully confirm the promise of her debut win in 2010 and was bought from Roger Varian's yard for just 6,500 gns in December.

Lily In Pink thrived last summer, winning 3 handicaps at up to 13.3f. Better still when third in Newmarket listed event final 2012 start and can get involved here if ready to go after 7-month absence.

Testosterone was a smart filly for Pascal Bary in France in 2011. Bought for 1,200,000 gns but nowhere near that form in trio of Group 2s for this yard last term, though has to be respected dropped into this grade.

Earth Amber is a Hurricane Run half-sister to useful 10.5f winner Siete Vidas. Won 13f maiden at Maisons-Laffitte for Andre de Royer-Dupre last summer, but given tough task on first UK outing for new yard.

Timeform 1-2-3:
1. Sir Graham Wade
2. Testosterone
3. Cavaleiro

Timeform Verdict: Sir Graham Wade went from strength to strength in the latter part of the 2012 season and is taken to add another listed race to his tally on his first start this time around. Testosterone was a disappointment last year, but it's too soon to write her off just yet and she may provide the stiffest challenge to Mark Johnston's colt.
